June 2022 Progress Update

In the Summer of 2022, W4K helped installed a water filtration system to provide a school with drinkable water. To celebrate the occasion, we provided them with books and stationery. We also celebrated with their favorite food — McDonald’s burgers and Ice-cream. It was gut-wrenching to hear of their stories and the difficulties that they have endured. They were very appreciative of the access to clean drinking water. In the end, we got a chance to say bye and thank you to all the families. Truly made my trip meaningful, amazing to meet such kids and their families – amazingly inspirational. I promised to be back and continue to support them.

November 2021 Progress Update

Hope everyone has been staying safe this year and had a great Thanksgiving! Now that India has calmed down a bit since COVID, we are again able to interact with the kids yet again and have continued to receive an outpour of gratitude this Thanksgiving season! We will continue our mission full force, and visit India again come this summer!

January 2020 Progress Update

Wishing everyone a Happy, Healthy and Safe 2020! Hope everyone on this planet gets access to the basic necessities of life - food, water, clothing and shelter, followed by education and more.As we move into this new year, we remind ourselves of our vision and mission, and continue to work towards making it a reality, in the near future! We do plan to visit our established facilities, identify new ones and continue our work on the ones in progress in India, during the summer of 2020.We continue to be appreciated by our little buddies at these schools - here is another example.

As summer has started, we start to ramp up our efforts and continue our discussion as to where is our effort/project most needed next? And we continue to feel appreciated by our little friends, who remind us that we made have a positive difference in their little world!

We continue to raise awareness of the water crisis in India, especially in the rural parts of this nation. We are working on raising more funds towards building another one of these wells at a village school in the northern part of India.Also sharing another note of thanks and appreciation from one of the lives impacted by our one small effort towards this global issue!

Especially to the underprivileged kids all around the world! We hope and pray that they have food to eat, clean water to drink, clothes to wear and a roof above their head! Sharing a picture from summer of 2017 where we spent some time teaching these kids, while continuing to work on providing them access to clean drinking water.

So gratifying to receive another Thank You note from a student at the school where we taught and installed a water filtration system for clean drinking water. 200 students have been getting clean drinking water since 2017! Amazing picture from a 7 year old kid – tells me something I did is really having an impact!
